Low Velocity Fragment Dispersal Technology of Lethality Enhancement Vehicle

The scheme of lethality enhancement vehicle with explosive as driving energy is proposed to meet the technology demand of lethality enhancement vehicle. The dispersal structure of low velocity mass fragment with explosive as driving energy is analyzed, and the theoretical formula of fragment velocity is deduced. The scheme of the vehicle fragment dispersal ring is designed and five groups of experiments are conducted. The experimental measurement values are compared with the theoretical calculation results of the fragment velocity, and the relative error is not more than 9.1%. It is concluded that the lethality enhancement vehicle can be realized by the driving structure with explosive, the function is more responsive compared to the gunpowder driving way, and the dispersal structure is more concise, feasible and easy to realize.
